I’m pedaling to empower women and girls around the world.
Hi all!Upcoming June I am planning to cycle from Amsterdam to Paris in two days (500 km) to raise money for the International NGO World Bicycle Relief. They are committed to helping people in Africa, Asia and Latin America through the power of cycling. World Bicycle Relief donates extremely strong "Buffalo Bicycles" and thus supports people in rural communities in overcoming distance barriers, so that they can access water, education, work, health care, etc.
With this campaign, World Bicycle Relief focuses specifically on women and girls. Each Buffalo Bike costs € 147, and with my bike ride I hope to be able to finance at least 4 bikes!
